At Tillicoultry Parish Church, we are always happy to welcome new people. One of the ways in which we do this is by offering baptism as a way of entering into the life of the Church family. This is something which is recognised not only here in our church but throughout the world.
Although the Church of Scotland practices infant baptism, it is perfectly acceptable for an individual who was not baptised as a child to receive baptism in adulthood.
Baptism isn't suitable for everyone. Sometimes parents want to welcome their new child into their midst without taking baptismal vows, but they would still like to ask God's blessing upon their child and their family. If that seems to describe you, them please get in touch and we can explore the possibilities.
